7 Questions To Find My Passion In Life

Struggling to find what is your passion in life? Tired of constantly fail when it comes to finding the right passion in life?

Here’s the good thing — I understand and I can resonate with you perfectly. I have been through the same experience in the past and I have always been wondering if what I’m doing now is the right thing to do.

You may be a student trying to determine if the education pathway that you had chosen is the right one.

Or, you could be a working adult and wonders if there are better and bigger things you can do (compared to what you are doing right now).

Give me 5 minutes and let me share with you on how to find your passion in life.

The Journey In Finding My Passion In Life

If you are expecting to have a windfall from heaven, you are in for a regret. There will be some straightforward questions that require a lot of thinking to get the best answer. So, here are the exact steps I took to find my passion.

Question 1: Can you imagine yourself doing that for the next 5 years?

We like to do a lot of things but like doing doesn’t mean that that’s our passion.

Allow me to give you an example. I like to publish blog posts and online marketing — but those are not the things I love doing the most.

The easiest way to find your passion is through asking this simple question:

Can you imagine doing the same work (over and over again) for the next 5 years? You see, many of us has interests and things we like to do. But when the thought of doing something for a long time comes into play, we tend to think twice. In short, your passion is always something you don’t mind doing regardless how long it takes.

Question 2: Do you mind working on your passion without being paid?

Another important part in finding your passion is asking yourself if you are willing (to sacrifice) to work without being paid for the next 3 to 5 years.

If you are willing to do so, then congratulations. You have found your true passion.

Most of us are willing to work only for a short time without being paid. Therefore, answering this question will allow you to understand more on your passion.

Question 3: Do you mind working 12 to 16 hours a day just to make your dream come true?

If the answer is “yes” to the above, you have found your passion. Most of the time, we make mistake by assuming that our passion is the things that we do daily … which is wrong!

Passionate in a matter will fuel you to go beyond — e.g. working extra time, long hours and with minimum sleep just to achieve your dreams.

That my friend, is the true passion of yours.

Question 4: What have you been dreaming of doing for a long time?

    what is your dream

Dreaming of what you want to do is a good way to understand your passion. This may not be exact but it is going to play a vital role especially in the early stages on things you probably love doing.

In short, knowing what you love doing in the past could work as a solution or pathway for you to discover what you truly passionate about.

Question 5: How many times have you tried (and fail)?

The path of finding your passion is not an easy route. It involves a lot of try and error. The more you try, the better chance you are in the quest of finding your passion.

At the end of the day, it is not how many times you have fail — it is how many times you have tried. Failure sucks but make it a point to make every failure an opportunity for you to grow.

Question 6: What has you been dreaming off?

    what is my dream

When it comes to finding your passion in life, some of us (the lucky ones) discover our true passion through the things we have always wanted to do.

Take a look at Tony Robbins for example. He makes millions each year not because he had a thriving business. He makes millions because he been dreaming of helping others for a long time.

If you are in the quest for finding your true passion in life, consider asking yourself what you had been dreaming of for a long time. You’ll be surprised that the answer might just be right in front of you!

Question 7: Why are you afraid to make mistakes?

What has finding the true passion in life has to do with mistakes? Here’s what I can tell you. Be bold and do not be afraid to make mistakes in life.

When you make mistakes, take the opportunity to reflect on what you can do better the next time. And in between the lines, you might just find your passion.

And even if you do not find your passion through it, you will be surprised on the things you can learn from your mistakes. After all, life is a learning process and a constantly growing one.

Back to you: How do you find your passion?

I truly hope that you will take sometime to go through the questions above in line to finding your passion.

These questions are dead simple but you need to ask yourself deep down inside. “How do I find my passion in life?”

Leave a comment below and tell me the challenges you face when finding your passion in life. And if you think this article is useful, please share it with two of your friend!

  • Web Hosting For Demanding Website Owners

Web Hosting For Demanding Website Owners

If you looking for the best web hosting for demanding website owners, you are going to love this article.

The term “good thing isn’t cheap and cheap thing isn’t good” constantly rings in my ear. When it comes to web hosting, I have quite a fair share of using the best, along with the not-so-good web hosting which resulted in hacking and super slow website loading speed.

I’m not going to lie — I’m annoying and demanding as hell. My goal in web hosting is all about getting the best out of what I’m paying and making sure my website visitors are happy (which I’m sure you have the same goal too).

So, here’s a list of the best web hosting for demanding website owners like me.

    Kinsta Hosting

I recently moved all my websites to Kinsta hosting because of two things—performance (speed) and customer support.

Kinsta WordPress hosting isn’t your average Joe when it comes to web hosting. It is priced within the ranged of many managed WordPress hosting services which starts at $30 per month.

If you are demanding (as hell) like me, you are going to love Kinsta hosting.

    kinsta dashboard

    Kinsta Web Hosting Management Dashboard

For starters, it is powered by Google Cloud Platform which pretty much guarantees ultra fast website loading speed. When it comes to datacenters, you can choose from a massive 15 locations around the world, thanks to Google Cloud Platform. You can also activate the Kinsta CDN (which is powered by KeyCDN) to make your website even faster. If you hate configuring cache plugin like I do, then Kinsta inbuilt cache system is going to save you hours (and sweat).

Looking for staging environment? Don’t worry as Kinsta hosting got you covered! All Kinsta hosting plans come with staging environment to cater for your web development needs (without additional costs).

Last but not least, Kinsta support is available 24/7 through live chat. At anytime you need help, just pop your question and you will get your answers within minutes (not hours).

    WP Engine

The WP Engine brand is no stranger to many in the web hosting world. WP Engine offers both affordable and high end plans to fit the needs of website owners (especially demanding ones like me).

Unlike other web hosting companies, WP Engine offers 100% website security and in the case where your website is exposed and being hacked, WP Engine will offer complete website restoration at no cost.

While WP Engine is often considered as enterprise web hosting service, it also offers entry level managed hosting which starts at $35 per month.

Here’s the new WP Engine pricing.

    wpengine hosting pricing change

I have no problem recommending WP Engine because it offers live chat support which solves reduces the ‘waiting time’. Of course, you know how annoying it is when it comes to waiting for an answer, don’t you?

Besides that, WP Engine offers shared web hosting environment which is still very powerful and small to mid size websites. Also, don’t forget that WP Engine comes with staging area which allows you to perform changes to your website without having to worry about breaking anything.

    Liquid Web

While Kinsta and WP Engine are great managed WordPress hosting providers, what happens when you are NOT using WordPress?

Introducing Liquid Web for demanding website owners. As website owners, you don’t have the time to work on the never ending ‘server issues’—and you rather get your web hosting company to sort those out. You don’t even mind paying them extra just for that!

Don’t get me wrong. I totally get it. Time is money, and by wasting precious time on these petty stuffs, you can make more money by focusing on your online business.

This is where Liquid Web comes into play. Liquid web offers managed dedicated hosting and servers—all in all to make your website loads faster and you can focus on things (your online business for example) that matter most to you.

Here’s a list of web hosting services offered by Liquid Web.
